The world around us is constantly changing. Some of these movements have a large impact on the way we are communicating and working together, both in our private lives and in business. From our perspective, we have visualised the most important business and technology trends and innovations in so-called ‘waves’.

The various waves in the past decennia have created a global infrastructure from which new social and professional relationships and networks emerge. The future waves will focus less and less on technology, while processes, people, information and relationships will become more important.

We focus on supporting our customers in climbing these ‘waves’ in all our services and solutions. You’ll see this in both our approach and our projects.

MatchMinds' vision; wave climbing, a visionary journey

The current wave

We believe that communication and services can only be effective and successful when customer needs are perfectly matched to the products or services provided. Accurate amounts of knowledge and information are key. This means that customers must be properly guided to find the right (relevant) information. That counts for all communication and interaction between companies and/or people, internally (employees and processes) as well as externally (partners, customers). Your employees will be able to work more efficiently and to serve your customers better.

The approach may vary, depending on the level of knowledge of your customers and employees. Experts or returning customers are usually well able to find and use the information they need, while novices or new customers need much more help. The ideal situation supports both groups and allows the user to choose the preferred level of guidance.

MatchMinds' vision; wave climbing, current wave

With regard to demand, it is crucial to know who is asking for something, the context of the question and the ambition. Static content in the form of user profiles are a primary source of information here. The profile should be matched with the current information needs of the customer or user. The current information needs can be derived from search queries, click behaviour and navigation.

In terms of supply (content), it is important to create an infrastructure that allows users to integrally search all necessary and available sources. These sources can consist of structured or unstructured information. The meaning (or semantics) can be added to the content and content-relations within the search infrastructure. This technique helps to match the supply (content) even better to the demands of the customer.

The dynamic connection between the front-end (internet, intranet, extranet, crm, erp, etc) and the available sources is the key part of our solutions architecture. We use portal and search technology as the main technologies for the realisation of these connections. Next to that we offer research in user experience, measurements of customer and user behaviour and support for redactions as part of our solutions.
